Transforming Houses in Need into Homes for Heroes
The Hearth & Home for Veterans Program is a cornerstone initiative of Veteran Housing Solutions, focused on restoring community properties and rebuilding the lives of the Veterans who once served our nation.
Through this program, we acquire homes in disrepair—often abandoned or forfeited—and completely renovate them from the ground up. Each home receives new plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, furniture, and landscaping, transforming neglected properties into safe, accessible, and affordable homes for homeless, at-risk, and newly discharged Veterans.
But Hearth & Home goes beyond housing. Every Veteran accepted into the program receives comprehensive wraparound support, including:
Healthcare enrollment assistance
Job placement and workforce readiness programs
Credit counseling and financial education
Food security resources
Transportation assistance
By combining housing restoration with personal empowerment, Hearth & Home for Veterans helps rebuild both communities and lives—ensuring every Veteran has not just a roof over their head, but a place to call home, a path forward, and a renewed sense of belonging.
