We are an OHIO based 501(C)(3) CHARITY committed to helping U.S. Veterans, as well as their widows to reduce homelessness and promote Long Term In – Home Care.
Veterans Aging in Place Program
The Veterans Aging in Place Program by Veteran Housing Solutions is dedicated to helping disabled and aging Veterans remain in the comfort and dignity of their own homes. Many of our nation’s heroes face challenges as they age—navigating stairs, accessing bathrooms, or managing everyday household tasks can become increasingly difficult and unsafe.
Through this program, Veteran Housing Solutions provides critical home modifications and repairs designed to make homes Safe, Accessible, and Affordable. Our team of skilled volunteers and licensed contractors assesses each Veteran’s unique needs and creates personalized solutions such as:
ADA-accessible bathrooms and kitchens
Wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and widened doorways
Grab bars, handrails, and non-slip flooring
Improved lighting, HVAC, and energy-efficient upgrades
Each project restores independence and peace of mind, ensuring Veterans can live safely in the homes they love—surrounded by family, friends, and the communities they helped protect.
